BANGKOK TRIP- CONTINUE PART 3
3rd Day (17 Dec)

Free-and-easy day so we went shopping at Platinum again. Saw Syahirah there. IT WAS SO RANDOM TO SEE A SECONDARY SCHOOL CLASSMATE THERE WHEN YOU HAVEN'T SEEN HER FOR YEARS. Chit-chatted for a while and continued shopping.

Another concidence- I saw Missy Donut's husband there! It was Mister Donut!! However, missy donuts nicer. :( Mister donuts were all cold. But there are donut dips!!

(top right- me and my mom
bottom left- my cousin and my grandma
centre- shark fin
bottom right- weird stuff. no one dared to eat it.)
Dinner at a restaurant. We had shark fins there.

One of my cousins was walking around and messaging everybody's back. So cute! and he's camera-shy!

Walked along the chinatown of Bangkok and there were hell alot of stores selling just shark fins and bird's nest. I guess it's probably their CA (comparative advantage) hahaha. (sry geeky joke).
My family had bird's nests but I drank a bit because it's scary to drink saliva!
After that, we watched an ah gua show (which costs like more than 50 bucks per person! :O ) Can understand why it's so expensive - the quality of the performance, costumes, backdrop, lightings and sound is really good! They lipsynced songs from different cultures but dont sing them actually to prevent their voice from showing.

The host which my cousin adored- turned out to be an ah gua as well. she was so disappointed hahhaha.
Okay I'm gonna show the photos I took for that ah gua so if you guys feel gross towards transvestites, do not look! CLick "PG DN" many many times!

Colleen would be so disappointed if she sees this. hahha.

***** Next day*****
Before we headed back home, we stopped by a temple because my extended family members are Buddhist.
Check out this golden-plated Sleeping Buddha statue!! They built the statue before building the temple because it was too huge!

They said that if you put 108 coins into the 108 bowls, you would get good luck

We wore Shawls that were provided by the temple because we aren't allowed to show our shoulders in the temple.

We also went into a shopping mall but almost all shops are closed and there wasn't anything nice for me to buy. So we went for Fish Spa.

It was so ticklish that I wasted 1/2 hr trying to force my feet to stay in the water. My grandma, on the other hand, was a brave woman who didn't resist at all!
Finally, we were back at the airport.
